Electrical Discharge Machining

Description

Our electrical discharge machining (EDM) services has over 100 EDM machines that perform a wide variety of processes from complex to simple operations. Our equipment list consists of multi-axis CNC sinker machines, 3-axis sinker machines, and wire EDM equipment. Our Electrode manufacturing capabilities can produce stamped copper, brass tubes and rods, graphite, and tungsten rod electrodes. Our EDM and Electrode processes can produce holes in various forms such as cooling, round, shaped, pin seal, tip and non-line of sight, as well as non-hole features like slots, grooves, pockets, and notches. With our expansive collection of equipment, we are capable of machining up to 7 axis for fast hole, up to 6 axis for sinker, and up to 4 axis for wire EDM.

We are experienced in a variety of metals up to and including cobalt and nickel based high temperature aerospace super alloys. Equipment capabilities for XYZ max travel are: plunge- 60" x 35" x 24"; fast hole 30" x 36" x 28"; and wire EDM- 51" x 39" x 20".
